External Window Frame Spray Painting, Trafford Park
MCP Painting Group spray painted the external window frames of a two-storey commercial office block on the Trafford Park business estate in Manchester. The work was undertaken to restore the building’s appearance and to give the frames long-term protection against weathering and environmental damage.

Preparation and masking
The project began with a detailed site assessment. All of the window frames were then thoroughly cleaned and prepared, and masked to protect the surrounding surfaces, including the glazing and masonry.
Airless spraying
Specialist airless spray equipment was used to apply a high-performance coating system to the frames. Spraying gave a smooth, uniform finish across all of the external frames.
Safe access and minimal disruption
The work was carried out from safe access equipment under strict health and safety procedures, and was planned to keep disruption to the business’s daily operations to a minimum.
The result
The project was completed on schedule. Refurbishing the existing frames improved the appearance of the building and renewed their protection without the cost of replacing them, and the client was very pleased with the finished result.
The photographs show the work in progress, with the frames masked and the access equipment in place, and the building after completion. They were taken from different positions and are not matched before-and-after views.
